I gave up and turned it down to Master Difficulty. But I want to be clear here. This is not an issue of me saying the game is "too hard", or complaining without bothering to learn the game's combat mechanics. This is me saying that after hours upon hours of learning said combat, I've come to the conclusion that as pretty as the game is, the Jedi: Fallen Order's combat felt a little awkward and cumbersome, and a lot of that was down to the game's attack timing and inconsistent window for parries. On top of that, Jedi: Fallen Order's attack and block animations also affected the flow of combat quite a bit, with attack windups often being unclear, leading to some frustrating deaths. 3440x1440 G Sync monitor, 1080ti, 8700k, 32 gb ram. Game runs smooth on ultra @ 70-100 fps most of the time, but I definitely get stutters here and there especially when I cut some tall grass or transition to a new perspective quickly. It is a little bothersome, but whatever. Game is fantastic. 4. On Story mode, even dodging and rolling away from attacks should be enough to get through most encounters. I assume you’re still early in the gameplay, so getting to the Zeffo hangar and just taking on as many storm troopers one or two at a time should give you all the practice you need. 8. Prestigious-Bet-6190. I finished game some months ago and now started NG+ but I have no skill points from my previous walkthrough. Is this so or did I miss something? That’s how it works. Since the force powers are collected at key story events and act as progress buffers on the skill tree, they just decided to not carry skills over. Jedi fallen order should have exposed the entire skill tree, and "locked" the skill that require push/pull/flip, etc. All the skill that aren't related to those should be already filled, like the survival, enhancement, and even BD-1s stim capacity. Personally i don't see why you can't start the game with all the skills anyway. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor manages to avoid a mistake that many sequels make by allowing Cal to actually pick up where he left off from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order without forgetting all of his abilities. Not only does this avoid a somewhat annoying habit of having to relearn all the prior game's skills, but it sets things up for Cal to learn First was thieves guild, then mages guild. When I got to fighters guild, I got bored and put the game aside for a while. I guess it didn't help that I liked poking around dungeons and oblivion portals after the 10th or 20th time. If I ignored the side quests (and guild quests) first, I would've finished the main game quest a long time ago at least. It’s on Gamepass. The new Tomb Raider games have a very similar progression. Looping back though areas again with new tools, skill progression, etc. Sekiro has a similar but much more enjoyable combat style to Fallen Order. It’s also extremely difficult but if you get good enough it’s one of the best games ever made. Granted I JUST finished fallen order so my skills are still fresh. 2. Sort by: hoot69. • 9 min. ago. GM + purity perk + warrior perk = getting one shotted by anything. One or two mistakes and you're dead, and it's very easy to slip up when you're getting mobbed by B2s. r/FallenOrder. Are skills going to 'cost' alot (Jedi Survivor) Been thinking about the skill count that we see Cal inching towards in the gameplay reveals. In JFO it never mattered all that much until much later in the game seeing as most skills would only cost about 1 point. But there seems to be a real focus on letting us know how many points have been accrued. I like how this game forces you to think like a Jedi. Too much aggression will get you killed, but if you show patience and let the opponent make the first move, then parry and counter, you will land a good hit or two. Then back down and let them make a move again. And once in a while, force push the opponent off a cliff! .
