❄️ Gopro Hero 4 Camera Settings
It’ll start up and take photos at a rate of 2 per second. If you think that’s too many photos, you can adjust the rate with the GoPro App. Once you set your rate in the app the camera will retain those settings for the next time you use it. Settings included are photos every 0.5 sec, 1 sec, 2 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec, and 60 sec
With this year's new Hero 4 Black camera, GoPro introduced a top-notch ruggedized device capable of shooting 1080p at an astounding 120 frames per second and 4K video up to 30 frames per second. But coming in at $499 without remote, is the latest GoPro worth the price of admission?

The modified GoPro Hero 4 camera was then fixed to an overhead surgical light. Results: Camera settings were set to 1080p video resolution. The 25 mm lens allowed for nine times the magnification
GoPro has the fisheye effect in all its latest models, beginning from GoPro Hero 5 to Hero 11. You’ll find the details of the effect under Video Settings. Under the Field of View menu, you’ll see three options: SuperView, Wide, and Linear. The FOV setting allows the user to change the angle from which a video is shot.
The GoPro is a point-and-shoot camera, but for divers in particular, results can vary drastically depending on who is pointing and shooting, and what other gear is involved. Divers need to remember that the more water light must pass through, the more color is stripped away, starting with the reds, followed by the other colors of the rainbow.
4. Playing with ISO + Shutter Speed. Here is an instance where I wanted as much control of the camera settings as possible. With waterfalls, it is great if you can keep your shutter speed relatively low so you end up getting the water to “blur,” which creates motion and has a more unique look to it.
Exposure Value Compensation. Last but not least for your FPV GoPro settings is EV Comp, which adjusts the overall brightness of the image. This really shines through in areas where a lot of differences in light and dark exist. EV Comp is adjustable from -2.0 to 2.0 with increments of .5.
Set the interval and shutter speed to ‘Auto’ with RAW on and it will expose properly during the day and capture RAW photos. Your GoPro will continuously shoot photos as soon as the previous image is done processing (about every 3 seconds). Night-Lapse Shooting Scenarios: Continuous shooting in any given setting.
Method 4: Use the GoPro Quik App. GoPro Quik is a recommendable program that organizes and edits GoPro files. Here are the steps for connecting GoPro to a PC using the Quik application: Connect the GoPro camera to your computer via a USB cable. Launch the Quick software on your PC and allow it to detect recent GoPro camera footage automatically.
It’s the same quality you’ll see in 1080-120 Wide, so these two modes mix and match well. In editing you can slow this down to 37.5% of original speed and still retain 30 FPS. If you want the immersive 4:3 view but want it in a 16:9 frame right out of the gate, use 1080 Superview. Uses: High action POV that you want to capture better slow
The GoPro Hero Max also has a HyperSmooth stabilization feature, so your bumpy video will look nice and smooth, and image quality from the camera — up to a max resolution of 5.6K/30 fps
