While driving in Scandinavia (Sweden and Denmark) I noticed that in none of the cities I drove through the 50 km/h speed limit was noted on my GPS. On driving into a city it stayed at or rose to 80 km/h, even directly in the town centres. This was not on city highways, mind you!
